NFS Shift 2: Unleashed (PC/PS3/Xbox 360) It might be a shock seeing an NFS game here but believe it or not, Shift 2 is really enjoyable if you’re just entering the competitive racing scene and want to have fun. On the other hand, the single player game modes are varied and in-depth, and the feel when driving the bikes themselves is certainly up to par. That’s why there are 10 racing games with career modes that are considered to be the most realistic and enjoyable. Build your rider by managing their race calendar, choose which R&D areas to invest in, and upgrade. Graphically, the game doesn’t stand up to what MotoGP 21 can offer, and there isn’t a whole lot of multiplayer content available. Career mode in RiMS Racing gives you control of a team. There are plenty of great aspects of RiMS Racing, but there are also some downsides as well. Is this trade-off worth it? And what do we think of the bike maintenance aspect of the game? Plusses and Minuses As of right now, there are only eight bikes available for players to choose between. RiMS Racings' career mode is created like a hub, where the player can manage their competitive structure.
However, the focus on additional parts and customisation comes at a price, that being the number of bikes available in the game. RiMS Racing is a decent first attempt into the racing simulation genre by Raceward Studios, with good racing, a detailed career mode and attention to detail on the bikes higher than any other game. It would seem like a missed opportunity if it's not the case, I think the pre-order DLC should've been cosmetic items. Aspects such as the bike maintenance feature definitely kick the game’s realism up a notch, as does the sheer variety and quantity of extra parts you can swap in and out on your bike. With the relatively low track list (I hope all missing tracks from Euro Truck Racing Championship are introduced in the future), I'm wondering before I purchase if Bahrain is in the career event rotation (or even added as extra events) to increase the diversity of gameplay.
